BOBCAT COLOR RUN: Brighter Because of You!
It’s ON!!!! Brookdale PTA’s annual Fun Run fundraiser is here. And this year, it’s all about you!!
Brookdale’s Fun Run is one of the largest PTA fundraising events of the year, with 100% of the proceeds going back to Brookdale School. This year, our fundraiser culminates in an exciting outdoor COLOR RUN obstacle course for all participants to enjoy! BACK THIS YEAR: color powder stations, food trucks, music and games from 5-8 pm for THE WHOLE FAMILY TO ENJOY!! Parents, siblings, extended family – everyone is invited to run and join the celebration!
Our 2023 Bobcat Color Run Goal is $10,000!
STUDENT FEE:
The suggested registration is $25 per student, however, larger or smaller donations are welcome. No Brookdale student will be turned away! Register your student(s) to run today! NEW: After creating your student’s online profile, you can share our event and encourage friends and family to help contribute to our fundraising goal.
Note: A $5 minimum payment is accepted online, plus processing fees. You can also register your student, select “CASH” and send back an envelope via backpack mail labeled with your student’s full name and class. Cash or check accepted. Make checks payable to “Brookdale PTA.” Payment will also be accepted at registration check-in at the event.
OTHER FUN-RUN PARTICIPANTS:
Non-student runners are welcome too! The suggested donation is $30 for all non-student runners. Parents, siblings, friends and family – register today and join in the fun! There’s no fee to cheer your student on from the sidelines.
Every bit counts – classes will earn special rewards for the most funds raised!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:
EVERY Brookdale student will receive a customized t-shirt to wear during the event. Runners of all ages will have a blast getting covered by non-toxic colored powder as they run laps around the school in a fun obstacle course. Complete laps around the school, then fuel up with onsite food trucks. Leaf-blowing stations are available to blow off excess powder upon departing.
RUN IN CLASS COLORS:
Students are encouraged to wear clothes (pants, long sleeves under the provided shirt, sweatbands and wristbands, etc.) in their specific grade color:
KINDERGARTEN: RED
FIRST GRADE: ORANGE
SECOND GRADE: YELLOW
THIRD GRADE: GREEN
FOURTH GRADE: BLUE
FIFTH GRADE: BLACK/PURPLE
AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE EVENT:
Food trucks (accept cash or credit)
Extra color powder ($5)
Glow sticks ($1)
Colored headbands & sweatbands ($2)
Extra t-shirts while supplies last
GOAL: Soccer shots vs. a Brookdale teacher

CORPORATE MATCHING
Does your company do charitable matching? Your Fun Run donation could be doubled or even tripled to benefit the students at Brookdale School! Ask your HR department about corporate matching, and contact the PTA Treasurer for the 501c3 information you need to add Brookdale as your charitable beneficiary.
